CLEANING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of reducing the abrasion of a blade member and an image carrier and suppressing the occurrence of cleaning failure.SOLUTION: A cleaning device 30 of an image forming apparatus 1 includes a blade member 32 which comes into contact with the surface of a photoreceptor drum 21, to remove the deposit of the surface of the photoreceptor drum 21, a blade holder 33 which has flexibility and holds the blade member 32 by a blade holding part 33a provided on one end side, a support part 34 which supports the part to be supported 33b provided on an end side opposite to the blade holding part 33a, of the blade holder 33, and a storage part 36 which is provided in the support part 34, stores the part to be supported 33b of the blade holder 33 from an opening 36a facing the photoreceptor drum 21, and supports the blade holder 33, so that the part to be supported 33b can be displaced according to the movement of the blade member 32 along the movement direction of the surface of the photoreceptor drum 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ブレード部材及び像担持体の摩耗を低減させることができ、且つ清掃不良の発生を抑制することが可能な清掃装置を提供する。【解決手段】画像形成装置１の清掃装置３０は、感光体ドラム２１の表面に接触してその表面の付着物を除去するブレード部材３２と、可撓性を有するとともに一端部側に設けたブレード保持部３３ａでブレード部材３２を保持するブレード保持体３３と、ブレード保持体３３のブレード保持部３３ａの反対の端部側に設けた被支持部３３ｂを支持する支持部３４と、支持部３４に設けられて感光体ドラム２１に臨む開口３６ａからブレード保持体３３の被支持部３３ｂを収容するとともにブレード部材３２が感光体ドラム２１の表面の移動方向に沿って移動するに伴って被支持部３３ｂが変位可能となるようブレード保持体３３を支持する収容部３６とを備える。【選択図】図３
