CONVEYANCE DEVICE AND PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance device which can suppress reduction in calculation accuracy of a conveyance amount in a conveyance period from the start of conveyance for media to the stop of conveyance in a case where the media are intermittently conveyed, and a printer having the same.SOLUTION: A printer comprises a control unit which controls a conveyance unit by calculating a conveyance amount (actual conveyance amount Fr) in a conveyance period TF on the basis of an image of a medium imaged by an imaging unit. The control unit calculates a conveyance amount (division conveyance amount) for each calculation interval TY, and calculates the conveyance amount (actual conveyance amount Fr) in the conveyance period TF by integrating the conveyance amount (division conveyance amount) for each calculation interval TY. When a conveyance speed Vf of the medium is low, the control unit extends the calculation interval TY in comparison to a case where the conveyance speed Vf is high.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】媒体を間欠的に搬送する場合において、当該媒体の搬送を開始してから停止するまで搬送期間において、搬送量の演算精度が低下することを抑制することができる搬送装置及び当該搬送装置を備える印刷装置を提供する。【解決手段】印刷装置は、撮像部により撮像された媒体の画像に基づいて、搬送期間ＴＦにおける搬送量（実搬送量Ｆｒ）を演算し、搬送部を制御する制御部を備える。また、制御部は、演算間隔ＴＹ毎の搬送量（分割搬送量）を演算し、当該演算間隔ＴＹ毎の搬送量（分割搬送量）を積算することで搬送期間ＴＦにおける搬送量（実搬送量Ｆｒ）を演算する。そして、制御部は、媒体の搬送速度Ｖｆが低い場合には、当該搬送速度Ｖｆが高い場合に比較して、演算間隔ＴＹを長くする。【選択図】図８
