CRAWLER TYPE TRAVEL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler type travel device which prevents a crawler from interfering with a projecting portion of a support structure even when an end of the crawler is deformed by riding over a projection.SOLUTION: A crawler type travel device 12 comprises a driving wheel 13, a driven wheel 14, a crawler 15 wound around the driving wheel 13 and the driven wheel 14, and rolling wheels (a large-diameter rolling wheel 16, a small-diameter rolling wheel 17) disposed in a contact state with an inner peripheral surface of the crawler 15. The crawler type travel device also comprises substantially cylindrical protective members 18 fitted to support structures 16S, 17S of the rolling wheels (the large-diameter rolling wheel 16, the small-diameter rolling wheel 17).
