PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERTER AND CONNECTING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric converter and a connecting device capable of higher speed signal transmission.SOLUTION: A plurality of electric contact portions 30 (first contact 31, second contact 32) are provided at a portion inserted into an insertion space 111 of a mating connector 2 on a surface of a mounting substrate 20 and are electrically connected to a plurality of connection terminals 130 arranged on the mating connector 2. The first contact 31 is electrically connected to a first connection terminal 131 that is electrically connected to a main substrate 100 at a position relatively near an open end 112 of the insertion space 111. The second contact 32 is connected to a second connection terminal 132 that is electrically connected to the main substrate 100 at a position relatively far from the open end 112 of the insertion space 111.
