Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass fiber bundle body which has better tensile strength in comparison with the conventional while having a construction of being coupled without using adhesion agent at a fiber junction part and provide a glass fiber bundle body manufacturing method in which tensile strength improvement is realized while coupling strands without using the adhesion agent.SOLUTION: A glass fiber strand 1 includes a fiber junction part 4 in which a first strand 2 and a second strand 3 each of that is constituted by bundling plural glass fibers are superimposed, and is constituted by coupling the first strand 2 and the second strand 3 to each other at the fiber junction part 4, and the fiber junction part 4 includes plural jointing parts 5, 5, 5 in each of which the first strand 2 and the second strand 3 are jointed to each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】糸継ぎ部において、接着剤を用いることなく連結される構成でありながら、従来に比して優れた引張強度を有するガラス繊維集束体を提供するとともに、接着剤を用いることなくストランドを連結しながら、引張強度の向上を実現するガラス繊維集束体の製造方法を提供する。
