Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a liquid level detection device capable of aiming at elongation of a lifetime.SOLUTION: A liquid level detection device 10 includes an electrode 13 conducted electrically to molten glass G in contact with a liquid surface Ga of the molten glass G, and a liquid level of the molten glass G is detected based on electrical conduction between the electrode 13 and the molten glass G. A part of the electrode 13 surface is coated with a spray deposit 20 formed by flame spray of a metal compound.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】長寿命化を図ることができる液面レベル検出装置用の電極を提供する。【解決手段】液面レベル検出装置１０は、溶融ガラスＧの液面Ｇａと接触して該溶融ガラスＧと電気的に導通される電極１３を備え、その電極１３と溶融ガラスＧとの電気的導通に基づいて溶融ガラスＧの液面レベルが検出される。そして、電極１３の表面の一部が、金属化合物の溶射によって成形された溶射膜２０にて被覆される。【選択図】図１
