Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing indium hydroxide powder producing indium hydroxide powder in which the width of a grain size distribution is narrow.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for producing indium hydroxide powder where indium hydroxide powder is obtained by electrolytic reaction using an anode including indium in an ammonium nitrate aqueous solution as an electrolyte, containing: a production step S1 where electrolysis is performed for a prescribed time in such a manner that the pH of the electrolyte is controlled to 2.5 to 4.0 and the liquid temperature is controlled to 20 to 60°C to produce electrolytic slurry; and a dissolution and recrystallization step S2 in which stirring is performed in such a manner that holding time lies in the range of 3 to 24 hr under the conditions where the pH of the electrolytic slurry is controlled to 2.5 to 4.0 and the liquid temperature is controlled to 20 to 60°C to dissolve and recrystallize the electrolytic slurry.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】粒度分布の幅が狭い水酸化インジウム粉を生成する水酸化インジウム粉の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】電解液として硝酸アンモニウム水溶液に、インジウムを含む陽極を用いた電解反応により水酸化インジウム粉を得る水酸化インジウム粉の製造方法であって、電解液のpHが2.5〜4.0、液温が20℃〜60℃の範囲で、所定時間電解して電解スラリーを作製する生成工程S1と、電解スラリーのpHが2.5〜4.0、液温が20℃〜60℃の条件下で、保持時間が3時間〜24時間の範囲で撹拌して、電解スラリーを溶解及び再結晶化させる溶解及び再結晶化工程S2とを備える。【選択図】図1
