Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device for boron neutron capture therapy capable of accurately reproducing a treatment plan and achieving high safety properties, and a control method thereof.SOLUTION: A treatment device 10 for boron neutron capture therapy includes: an irradiation unit 12 for irradiating generated neutrons to a tumor of a patient; a blood sampling unit 19 for sampling blood of the patient in real time during treatment; a blood boron concentration measurement unit 20 for measuring the blood boron concentration from the sampled blood; a cell boron concentration calculation unit 51 for calculating the boron concentrations in a normal cell and a tumor cell from the measured blood boron concentration based on the correlation held in advance with the blood boron concentration; an exposure dose evaluation unit 54 for predicting an exposure dose of the patient caused by the irradiation of neutrons using the respective calculated boron concentrations in the normal cell and the tumor cell; and a control amount setting unit 55 for setting an amount of control including neutron irradiation time and neutron irradiation intensity according to the predicted exposure dose.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】治療計画を正確に再現できるとともに、高い安全性を実現するホウ素中性子捕捉療法用治療装置及びその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】ホウ素中性子捕捉療法用の治療装置10は、生成された中性子を患者の腫瘍に照射する照射ユニット12と、治療中にリアルタイムで患者の血液をサンプリングする血液サンプリング部19と、サンプリングされた血液から、血液中のホウ素濃度を計測する血中ホウ素濃度計測部20と、血液中のホウ素濃度との予め保持された相関関係に基づいて、計測された血液中のホウ素濃度から正常細胞及び腫瘍細胞それぞれのホウ素濃度を計算する細胞内ホウ素濃度計算部51と、計算された正常細胞及び腫瘍細胞のそれぞれのホウ素濃度を用いて、中性子の照射により生じる患者の被ばく線量を予測する被ばく線量評価部54と、予測された被ばく線量に応じて中性子の照射時間及び照射強度を含む制御量を設定する制御量設定部55と、備える。【選択図】 図1 |
