Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine vehicle driving ability or aptitude by using an inexpensive apparatus for measuring a brain wave in perceiving a three-dimensional stereoscopic shape without using a drive simulator, and by determining perception ability, concentration ability, etc. required for safe driving by measuring a brain wave at a specific region in a short time test.SOLUTION: A vehicle driving ability determination apparatus comprises: a display for displaying a three-dimensional view space perception problem; an answer input apparatus for inputting an answer to the three-dimensional view space perception problem; and an electroencephalograph that is mounted on a subject. The vehicle driving ability determination apparatus records γ band brain wave activity strength detected in any of an occipital visual area, a parietal lobe, and a frontal high-order motor area of regions detected by the electroencephalograph during a predetermined period of time after the three-dimensional view space perception problem has been set; and determines the subject's driving ability by using a relational expression between the maximum value of the recorded strength and driving ability predetermined in an experiment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】ドライブシミュレータを使用することなく、三次元立体形状を認知する際の脳波を計測することにより、低コストな設備で、しかも、短時間のテストにより、安全運転の遂行に必要な認知能力や集中力等を特定部位の脳波を計測することで、自動車運転能力や適性を正確に判定する。【解決手段】 本発明の自動車運転能力判定装置は、三次元視空間認知課題を表示するディスプレイと、三次元視空間認知課題の回答を入力する回答入力装置と、被験者に装着する脳波計とを備えている。三次元視空間認知課題を出題してから一定時間の間、脳波計が検出する部位のうち、後頭部視覚野、頭頂葉、前頭高次運動野のいずれかで検出したγ帯域の脳波活動強度を記録し、その最大値と、予め実験により定めた運転能力との関係式により、被験者の運転能力を判定する。【選択図】 図6 |
