Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a size of a torque converter in which a clutch member and an output hub are directly connected to each other so as to sequentially pass a first transmission stage in which first and second damper springs are operated in a series state and a second transmission stage in which only the first damper spring is operated according to the enlargement of a torsion angle between a pump impeller and the output hub in a connection state of a lockup clutch.SOLUTION: A spring holder 42 having a pair of holding plates 52, 53 which sandwich an intermediate member 41 is fixed to an output hub 25 together with a turbine liner 12, and a transmission member 58 which is supported to a clutch member 43 is fit to the intermediate member 41 so as not to be relatively rotatable while making a first damper spring 46 interposed between the clutch member 43 and itself, and the spring holder 42 and the intermediate member 41 are inserted into at least either of the holding plates 52, 53 while being enabled in the relative rotation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ロックアップクラッチの接続状態では、ポンプインペラおよび出力ハブ間での捩じり角度が大きくなるのに応じて、第1および第2ダンパスプリングが直列状態で作動する第1伝達段階と、第1ダンパスプリングだけが作動する第2伝達段階とを順次経過するようにしてクラッチ部材および出力ハブが直結されるトルクコンバータにおいて、小型化を可能とする。【解決手段】中間部材41を挟む一対の保持板52,53を有するスプリングホルダ42がタービンランナ12とともに出力ハブ25に固定され、第1ダンパスプリング46をクラッチ部材43との間に介在させてクラッチ部材43に支持される伝動部材58が、中間部材41に相対回転を不能として嵌合されるとともに、スプリングホルダ42および中間部材41が相対回転することを可能として保持板52,53の少なくとも一方に挿通される。【選択図】 図1 |
