PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train operation supporting system which can support smooth operation of a train.SOLUTION: A train operation supporting system 100 for supporting smooth operation of a train comprises: a terminal device 1 which is carried by an operator for a vehicle for maintenance, and which transmits a request for setting a route from a departure point to an arrival point on which the vehicle for maintenance travels and transmits a route release request when the vehicle for maintenance reaches the arrival point; and a control server 2 for maintenance which registers that a route setting for the vehicle for maintenance is achieved as well as path closing of the route required when the route setting request is received from the terminal device is performed, receives the route release request from the terminal device, and maintains the path closing at the arrival point when there is such a registration while releasing other path closing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】列車の円滑な運行を支援することができる列車運行支援システムを提供する。【解決手段】列車の円滑な運行を支援する列車運行支援システム１００において、保守用車両が走行する出発点から到着点までの進路設定要求を送信し、保守用車両が到着点に到着した場合には進路解除要求を送信する保守用車両の作業員が携帯する端末装置１と、端末装置から進路設定要求を受信した場合に要求された進路の線路閉鎖を行うと共に保守用車両の進路設定である旨登録し、端末装置から進路解除要求を受信し、且つ、登録がある場合には到着点における線路閉鎖を維持して、その他の線路閉鎖を解除する保守用制御サーバ２とを備える。【選択図】図１
