PRINTER, POWER SHUTDOWN CONTROL METHOD AND POWER SHUTDOWN CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and the like which can prevent, as much as possible, the occurrence of such a situation that the printer completely freezes during execution like a case where power is shut down after executing all execution stand-by jobs, and prevent inefficiency like a case where the saved execution stand-by jobs are executed by rebooting the power.SOLUTION: A printer acquires load information that is information about a load to a system of its own device in a case of executing one or a plurality of execution stand-by jobs held in the device with reception of a power shutdown command by reception means as a trigger and comprises control means which controls whether to shut down power after a portion or all of the execution stand-by jobs are executed by the job execution means or without execution of the execution stand-by jobs by job execution means on the basis of the load information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】実行待ちジョブを全て実行したのち電源を遮断する場合のような、実行途中で印刷装置が完全にフリーズする事態の発生を可及的に防止するとともに、電源を再起動して退避させた実行待ちジョブを実行する場合のような効率の悪さを防止できる印刷装置等を提供する。【解決手段】受信手段により電源遮断指令を受信したことを契機として、自装置内に保持されている１個または複数個の実行待ちジョブを実行する場合の自装置のシステムへの負荷についての情報である負荷情報を取得し、この負荷情報に基づいて、実行待ちジョブの一部または全部をジョブ実行手段に実行させたのち自装置の電源を遮断するか、実行待ちジョブをジョブ実行手段に実行させることなく電源を遮断するかを制御する制御手段を備えている。【選択図】図４
