Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display that can improve luminance and perform gradation expression, and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A display comprises: electrophoretic particles 32; and a porous layer 33 that is formed in a fibrous structure and colored in a plurality of colors. The electrophoretic particles include a plurality of types of particles having different light reflection characteristics from each other; the plurality of types of particles are each charged to have different charges from each other. The porous layer is colored in red, green, and blue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】輝度を向上させると共に、階調表現が可能な電気泳動表示装置およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】表示装置は、泳動粒子３２と、繊維状構造体により形成されると共に、複数の色に着色された多孔質層３３とを備える。泳動粒子は、互いに光反射特性の異なる複数種類からなり、それぞれ帯電すると共に、互いに異なる電荷を有する。多孔質層は、赤色、緑色および青色に着色されている。【選択図】図１
