SHEATH MATERIAL FOR WIRING HARNESS, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SHEATH MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent foreign substance intrusion and electric wire protrusion by eliminating a gap of a side face in a caterpillar type sheath material.SOLUTION: The sheath material comprises: a main body part of which the cross section is recessed; a lid part coupled through a thin hinge part to a front end of a first vertical wall at one side with a horizontal wall of the main body part interposed therebetween; and a block which locks lock parts provided in the lid part and a second vertical wall at the other side to form a rectangular frame for wiring harness insertion. The block is successively continued to a neighboring block via thin hinge parts at both side edges of the second vertical wall. In order to eliminate a gap between blocks neighboring to one side edge of the horizontal wall of the main body part and one side edge of the lid part, a main body side shield wall and a lid side shield wall are protrusively provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】キャタピラ型の外装材において、側面の隙間を無くし、異物侵入および電線はみ出しを防止する。【解決手段】断面凹形状の本体部と、該本体部の横壁を挟む一方側の第１縦壁の先端に薄肉ヒンジ部を介して連結した蓋部と、該蓋部と他方側の第２縦壁に設けたロック部をロックしてワイヤハーネス挿通用の四角枠とするブロックを設け、該ブロックを前記第２縦壁の両側縁の薄肉ヒンジ部を介して隣接するブロックと順次連続させ、前記本体部の横壁の一側縁と前記蓋部の一側縁にそれぞれ隣接するブロックとの隙間を無くすために本体側遮蔽壁、蓋側遮蔽壁を突設している。【選択図】図１
