Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a calorific value derivation device and a calorific value derivation method that can reduce costs.SOLUTION: A gas meter (calorific value derivation device) 110 can derive a passage calorific value of gas by comprising: a sound speed derivation unit 160 that derives the sound speed of gas flowing in a gas passage; a calorific value derivation unit 164 that derives a calorific value per unit volume of gas independent of a gas type on the basis of the sound speed derived by the sound speed derivation unit 160, referring to correspondence relation information that can uniquely derive a calorific value per unit volume from the sound speed of gas; and a flow rate derivation unit 162 that derives the flow rate of gas having passed the gas passage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】低コスト化を図ることが可能な発熱量導出装置および発熱量導出方法を提供する。【解決手段】ガスメーター(発熱量導出装置)110は、ガス流路内を流れるガスの音速を導出する音速導出部160と、ガスの音速から単位体積あたりの発熱量を一義的に導き出せる対応関係情報を参照して、音速導出部160により導出された音速に基づいて、ガスの種別に拘わらない、ガスの単位体積あたりの発熱量を導出する発熱量導出部164と、ガス流路を通過したガスの流量を導出する流量導出部162とを備えることにより、ガスの通過発熱量を導出することが可能となる。【選択図】図2
