Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nerve regeneration tube having flexibility, applicable even to a portion that receives a flexure action from a human body, without blockage by kinking (bending phenomenon), with high compression characteristics preventing collapse, and configured to be absorbed not completely during a period necessary for a process of nerve regeneration, and to be absorbed after the completion of the regeneration process, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the nerve regeneration tube.SOLUTION: A nerve regeneration tube includes a tubular fiber assembly composed of a bioabsorbable polymer, a foam body composed of a bioabsorbable polymer and a reinforcement material composed of a bioabsorbable polymer. The foam body composed of bioabsorbable polymer, the reinforcement material composed of a bioabsorbable polymer, and the tubular fiber assembly composed of a bioabsorbable polymer are arranged in this order from an inner surface of the nerve regeneration tube. The nerve regeneration tube has a kinking resistance property. When the nerve regeneration tube is cut into 5 cm long to make a sample, and gradually applied a force from both ends of the sample to flex into a U-shape, and then a distance W (cm) between both ends is measured when completely bent, the nerve regeneration tube has 50-100% curvature calculated by a formula (1): curvature (%)=(1-W/5)×100 (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
【課題】柔軟性を有し人体の屈曲作用を受ける部位にも適用可能であり、かつ、キンキング(折れる現象)によって閉塞することなく、潰れが生じない高い圧縮特性を有する、神経が再生する過程に有する期間に完全には吸収されず、再生過程終了後に吸収される神経再生チューブ、及び、該神経再生チューブの製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】生体吸収性高分子からなる管状の繊維集合体、生体吸収性高分子からなる発泡体、及び、生体吸収性高分子からなる補強材からなる神経再生チューブであって、神経再生チューブの内面側から生体吸収性高分子からなる発泡体、生体吸収性高分子からなる補強材、生体吸収性高分子からなる管状の繊維集合体の順に配置されており、神経再生チューブを5cmの長さに切断したサンプルの両端から徐々に力を加えてU字状に湾曲させていき、完全に折れ曲がったときの両端の距離W(cm)を測定したときに、下記式(1)により算出した湾曲率が50〜100%である耐キンキング性を有する神経再生チューブ。湾曲率(%)=(1−W/5)×100 (1)【選択図】 なし |
