Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single row ball bearing capable of achieving a longer life by preventing multipoint contact between each raceway groove and each ball during high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: A single row ball bearing 10 includes an outer ring raceway groove 1a and an inner ring raceway groove 2a which have two arc surfaces 1a1, 1a2 and 2a1, 2a2 mutually different in curvature center on both sides across the width-direction centers, respectively. In the static state, balls 3 have two-point contact with the outer ring raceway groove 1a when the balls 3 are pushed against the outer ring raceway groove 1a, and the balls 3 have two-point contact with the inner ring raceway groove 2a when the balls 3 are pushed against the inner ring raceway groove 2a. The two arc surfaces 1a1, 1a2 of the outer ring raceway groove 1a have curvature radii re1, re2 equal to each other, and contact angles αe1, αe2 formed on both axial-direction sides and different from each other, respectively.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
