The boot includes: a large-diameter cylinder part 32a; a small-diameter cylinder part 32b fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft; one or more communication passages provided in at least one of the small-diameter cylinder part and large-diameter cylinder part, and communicating between a grease storage space 50 and an outside space; an on-off valve provided in the communication passage, and opening/closing according to pressure in the grease storage space; and a waterproof ventilation membrane 37 provided so as to block an outside space side with the on-off valve in the communication passage, and configured to regulate passage of water between the outside space and the grease storage space to allow passage of air.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
