Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading linear light source device having a long transparent material made of a translucent member and an LED arranged to oppose the end face of a transparent material, and enabled to reduce the difference of a distribution characteristic between the sectional luminous intensity distribution of the incident end part of the transparent material and the sectional luminous intensity distribution while suppressing the light leakage (release of a light) from said transparent material.SOLUTION: In order to solve the aforementioned problem, a reading linear light source device according to the invention is characterized in that a transparent diffusion film is juxtaposed between said LED and said incident end face through a clearance to said incident end face.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】透光性部材よりなる長尺な導光体と、該導光体の端面に対向配置されるLEDとを有してなる読取用線状光源装置において、導光体からの光漏れ(光の抜け)を抑えつつ、導光体の入射端部の断面配光と、反対端部の断面配光の分布特性の差を小さくことを可能とした構造を提供することである。【解決手段】上記課題を解決するために、この発明に係る読取用線状光源装置は、前記LEDと前記入射端面の間には、透光性の拡散フィルムが前記入射端面と間隔を介して並設されていることを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
