A salt detection part 3, when the immersion has been detected, measures the concentration of salt. A sea water immersion determination part 4 determines whether the electronic apparatus has been immersed in sea water on the basis of the concentration of salt. A water washing necessity determination part 15 determines whether the electronic apparatus should be washed with water on the basis of a result of the determination performed by the sea water immersion determination part 4.
