A width of the narrow portion 72 can be matched to a width of each segment 38 of the commutator 28. The wide portion 74 suppresses a cross-section (a cross-section perpendicular to a longer direction L of the brush 56) of the brush 56 to be small over a span from a front end 64 to a rear end 62.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
【課題】コンミュテータのセグメント数に関わらずブラシ自体の電気抵抗の増加を抑制できる電動モータを提供する。【解決手段】ブラシ５６は、コンミュテータ２８側に形成される幅狭部７２と、幅狭部７２よりもばね５８側に形成される幅広部７４と、を備える。幅狭部７２の幅はコンミュテータ２８の各セグメント３８の幅に合わせられる。幅広部７４は、ブラシ５６の横断面（ブラシ５６の長手方向Ｌに対して直交する断面）が先端６４から後端６２にわたって小さくなることを抑制する。【選択図】図５ |
