Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rigidity of a cylinder part in a converter housing in which the cylinder part for supporting a counter shaft is overlapped on a flange part which surrounds a converter accommodation part.SOLUTION: A flange part 36 composed of an outer wall 37 and an inner wall 38 surrounds a converter accommodation part 35 with a sleeve hole 42 as a center, and a cylinder part 50 is overlapped on the flange part so as to expose the outer wall to the converter accommodation part. A reinforcing wall 45 is arranged which is connected to the outer wall of the cylinder part at the inside rather than the flange part, and extends to both sides in a peripheral direction along the flange part. A rib radially extending to the inside is not connectable due to interference with a torque converter, however, since the reinforcing wall 45 has a triple wall together with the outer wall and the inner wall of the flange part, high rigidity having no deviation in balance can be obtained, and even if a sleeve for supporting a counter shaft is pressure-inserted into the cylinder part from a transmission housing side for accommodating a gear change mechanism, the cylinder part is not warped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】コンバータ収納部を囲むフランジ部にカウンタ軸を支持するシリンダ部が重なったコンバータハウジングにおいて、シリンダ部の剛性を高める。【解決手段】スリーブ孔42を中心とするコンバータ収納部35をアウタ壁37とインナ壁38からなるフランジ部36が囲んでおり、シリンダ部50がその外壁をコンバータ収納部に露出するようにフランジ部に重なっている。フランジ部より内側でシリンダ部の外壁に接続するとともにフランジ部に沿って周方向両側に延びる補強壁45を設けた。トルクコンバータとの干渉のため内方へ放射状に延びるリブは設定不可であるが、補強壁45がフランジ部のアウタ壁およびインナ壁と共に3重壁を形成するので、バランスに偏りのない高い剛性を与え、変速機構を収納するトランスミッションハウジング側からシリンダ部にカウンタ軸支持用のスリーブを圧入するときにもシリンダ部を歪ませない。【選択図】図3
