PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for producing a polymer-coated substrate having a graft polymer layer on the surface by using a surface-modified substrate having a polymerization initiator group introduced into the surface.SOLUTION: In a production method of a polymer-coated substrate, various modification of a substrate surface becomes possible by using tannin, and a polymerization initiator group can be introduced into tannin because tannin has many hydroxy groups, thus a monomer can be polymerized from the polymerization initiator group introduced into tannin, to thereby form a graft polymer layer on the substrate surface.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】表面に重合開始基が導入された表面修飾基材を用いて表面にグラフトポリマー層を有するポリマー被覆基材を製造する技術の提供。【解決手段】タンニンを用いることで様々な基材表面の修飾が可能になり、タンニンは多くの水酸基を有しているため容易に重合開始基を導入でき、タンニンに導入した重合開始基からモノマーが重合可能であり、基材表面にグラフトポリマー層を形成するポリマー被覆基材の製造方法。【選択図】なし
