PASSENGER CONVEYOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyor which can reduce an operation of unnecessary inlet switch.SOLUTION: A passenger conveyor includes: a moving handrail 5 for moving along an outer periphery of a railing in an endless manner; footsteps moving in the same direction as the moving handrail 5; a driving device 11 for driving the moving handrail 5 and the footsteps; a deck cover 4 arranged at a lower part of the railing; an inlet part 6 which is an entering part of the moving handrail 5 opened at an end part of the deck cover 4; an elastic structure 8 molded by an elastic body and installed at the inlet part 6; and an inlet switch 9 for detecting the movement of the elastic structure 8. The elastic structure 8 has: a body part 8a which is accommodated in the deck cover 4; and a projection part 8b which is extended from the body part 8a so as not to cover a side part 5b of the moving handrail 5, and at least one part of which projects from the deck cover 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】不要なインレットスイッチの動作を低減することのできる乗客コンベアの提供【解決手段】欄干の外周に沿って無端状に移動する移動手摺り５と、この移動手摺り５と同一方向に移動する踏段と、移動手摺り５および踏段を駆動する駆動装置１１と、欄干の下部に配置されるデッキカバー４と、デッキカバー４の端部に開口された移動手摺り５の進入部であるインレット部６と、弾性体で成型され、インレット部６に設置される弾性構造物８と、この弾性構造物８の動きを検出するインレットスイッチ９と、を備えた乗客コンベアであって、弾性構造物８は、デッキカバー４内に収納される本体部８ａと、移動手摺り５の側部５ｂを覆わないように本体部８ａから延設されると共に、少なくともその一部がデッキカバー４から突出する突出部８ｂとを有するようにしたものである。【選択図】図１
