Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved manufacturing method of a hot melt adhesive.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a hot melt adhesive, which is an extrusion manufacturing method of an adhesive containing i) at least one degraded polypropylene (co)polymer (hereafter described as PP) and ii) at least one additional additive, includes the following steps of: a) supplying PP having a weight average molecular weight of at least 250,000 g/mol to a first extrusion section 2 and performing thermomechanical degradation of the PP by a shear stress; b) transferring the degraded PP from the first extrusion section 2 to a second extrusion section 3; and c) supplying at least one tackifying resin to the second extrusion section 3 as an additive and mixing it with the PP under a shear stress. The first extrusion section 2 and the second extrusion section 3 are connected so that the degraded PP is transferred in a molten state from the first extrusion section 2 to the second extrusion section 3. The content of radical donor in the degraded PP at the time of entering the second extrusion section 3 is less than 0.01 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
