PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white board enabling reading and recording of written data written by an aqueous marker without using any special electronic pen, an optical sensor or the like.SOLUTION: A white board includes a substrate, first wiring provided in one surface of the substrate and having a plurality of parallel thin wires, second wiring provided in the other surface of the substrate and having a plurality of parallel thin wires orthogonal to the first wiring, a driving circuit for sequentially switching to the plurality of thin wires of the first wiring to apply a detection voltage, a detection circuit for sequentially switching and scanning the plurality of thin wires of the second wiring, a writing information recorder for recording position data output from the detection circuit, and a high-dielectric white board provided in one or the other surface of the substrate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ホワイトボードにおいて、特別な電子ペンや光学センサ等を用いることなく、水性マーカーによって筆記した筆記データを読み取り、記録できることを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明は、基板と、この基板の一方の面に設けられた複数の平行した細線を有する第１配線と、この基板の他方の面に設けられた前記第１の配線と直交する複数の平行した細線を有する第２の配線と、第一の配線の複数の細線に順次切り替えて検出用電圧を印可する駆動回路と、前記第二の配線の複数の細線を順次切り替えて走査する検出回路と、この検出回路から出力された位置データを記録する筆記情報記録装置と、前記基板の一方又は他方の面に設けられた高誘電率白板とを有することを特徴とするホワイトボードである。【選択図】 図１
