PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support member, an image holder, and an image formation device with which it is possible to suppress the vibration occurring in a barrel as compared with the case where a support member having the sectional shape of a letter C for making the whole outer circumferential surface thereof in contact with the inner circumferential surface of the barrel is used.SOLUTION: When a support member 116 is used, an inner circumferential surface 108A of a barrel 108 is in contact at six or more points. Furthermore, two contact parts disposed farthest apart in a plurality of contact parts located on one side of a straight line E1 are apart 90 degrees or more in the circumferential direction, and two adjacent contact parts are apart 20 degrees or more in the circumferential direction. Therefore, the sectional deformation of the barrel 108 is suppressed, and further the vibration occurring in the barrel 108 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】外周面全体を筒体の内周面と接触させる断面Ｃ字状の支持部材を用いる場合と比して、筒体に生じる振動を抑制することができる支持部材、像保持体、及び画像形成装置を得る。【解決手段】支持部材１１６を用いた場合には、筒体１０８の内周面１０８Ａと接触する位置は６点以上である。さらに、直線Ｅ１に対して一方側に位置する複数の接触部において、最も離れて配置されている二つの接触部は、周方向において９０〔度〕以上離れており、隣り合う二つの接触部は、周方向において２０〔度〕以上離れている。このため、筒体１０８の断面変形が抑制され、さらに、筒体１０８に生じる振動が抑制される。【選択図】図１
