Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire for a motor cycle for making both compatible in straight-advance stability and a transition characteristic in turning time.SOLUTION: A tread part 2 comprises a center area Cr and a pair of shoulder areas Sh on both sides of the center area Cr. An outer surface contour line of the center area Cr is a circular arc shape of projecting to the outside in the tire radial direction in a first radius of curvature R1, and an outer surface contour line of the respective shoulder areas Sh is a circular arc shape of projecting to the outside in the tire radial direction in a second radius of curvature R2 smaller than the first radius of curvature R1. The tread part 2 is provided with a center main groove 9 having a plurality of zigzag apexes 10 in the center area Cr and continuously extending in a zigzag shape in the tire circumferential direction, a plurality of shoulder peripheral grooves 13 extending to the shoulder areas Sh from the respective zigzag apexes 10 and a shoulder sub-groove 16 extending by straddling over the center area Cr and the shoulder areas Sh between the shoulder peripheral grooves 13 adjacent in the tire circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】直進安定性と旋回時の過渡特性とを両立させたモーターサイクル用タイヤを提供する。【解決手段】トレッド部2は、センター領域Crと、センター領域Crの両側の1対のショルダー領域Shとを有している。センター領域Crの外面輪郭線は、第1曲率半径R1でタイヤ半径方向外側に凸の円弧状であり、各ショルダー領域Shの外面輪郭線は、第1曲率半径R1よりも小さい第2曲率半径R2でタイヤ半径方向外側に凸の円弧状である。トレッド部2には、センター領域Cr内に複数のジグザグ頂点10を有してタイヤ周方向にジグザグ状で連続してのびるセンター主溝9と、各ジグザグ頂点10からショルダー領域Shにのびる複数のショルダー横溝13と、タイヤ周方向で隣り合うショルダー横溝13間で、センター領域Crとショルダー領域Shとに跨ってのびているショルダー副溝16とが設けられている。【選択図】図2 |
