Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission device having a wavelength controller that can achieve high color rendering performance and also has high light resistance.SOLUTION: A light emission device 1 includes plural kinds of LED modules 2A, 2B, 2C each having an LED light source 3 and a wavelength control unit 4 (4A, 4B, 4C) containing a dye for controlling the wavelength of light emitted from the LED light source 3. The concentration of the dye 42 contained in the wavelength controller 4 varies according to each kind of the LED modules 2A, 2B and 2C. The plural kinds of LED modules 2A, 2B, 2C contain an LED modules 2A having a wavelength controller 4A which contains a dye 42 having a concentration of an average concentration c or more when the average concentration of the dye 42 is equal to c. According to this configuration, the wavelength control unit 4A contains the dye 42 at a high concentration, so that degradation of the wavelength control function of the dye 42 can be suppressed as a whole, and the light resistance of the wavelength control units 4A, 4B, 4C can be enhanced over the whole light emission device 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】高い演色性を得ることができ、しかも高い耐光性を有する波長制御部を備えた発光装置及びそれを用いた照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】発光装置1は、LED光源3と、LED光源3から出射された光の波長を制御する色素を含有する波長制御部4(4A、4B、4C)と、を有する複数種類のLEDモジュール2A、2B、2Cを備える。LEDモジュール2A、2B、2Cの種類毎に波長制御部4に含有される色素42の濃度が異なり、複数種類のLEDモジュール2A、2B、2Cは、色素42の平均濃度がcであるとき、平均濃度c以上の濃度で色素42を含有する波長制御部4Aを有するLEDモジュール2Aを含む。この構成によれば、波長制御部4Aは高い濃度で色素42を含有しているので、全体での色素42の波長制御機能の低下を抑制することができ、波長制御部4A、4B、4Cの耐光性を発光装置1全体として高めることができる。【選択図】図6
