Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal polyester monofilament having high strength, a high elastic modulus and excellent process passing property, post-processing property and wear resistance.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal polyester monofilament has a surface roughness (Ra) of 0.015 to 0.100 μm in a fine concavo-convex pattern on a fiber surface and a maximum diameter reduction rate of 8.0% or less. The liquid crystal polyester monofilament has a degree of variability in the strength 10.0% or less.
