PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn winder, an automatic winder, and an inspection method of a yarn splicing portion, which can facilitate an inspection of the dimension and strength in a yarn splicing portion, and can keep the inspection accuracy constant.SOLUTION: A winder unit 10 comprises: a bobbin support part 11 for supporting a yarn feeding bobbin B; a winding part for winding a yarn Y of the yarn feeding bobbin supported by the bobbin support part; a yarn splicing device 31 for splicing the yarn on the bobbin support part side and the yarn on the winding part side between the bobbin support part and the winding part; a dimension acquisition part 110 for acquiring a dimension of a yarn splicing portion in which the yarns are spliced by the yarn splicing device; a strength acquisition part 120 for acquiring a strength of the yarn splicing portion; and an inspection control part 100 capable of switching between a normal mode of forming a package by winding the yarn of the yarn feeding bobbin and an inspection mode of outputting the dimension and strength of the yarn splicing portion acquired by the dimension acquisition part and the strength acquisition part as an inspection value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】糸継部分における寸法及び強力の検査を容易にすると共に、検査精度を一定に維持することが可能となる糸巻取機、自動ワインダ及び糸継部分の検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】ワインダユニット１０は、給糸ボビンＢを支持するボビン支持部１１と、ボビン支持部に支持される給糸ボビンの糸Ｙを巻き取る巻取部と、ボビン支持部と巻取部との間において、ボビン支持部側の糸と巻取部側の糸とを継ぐ糸継装置３１と、糸継装置によって糸が継がれた糸継部分の寸法を取得する寸法取得部１１０と、糸継部分の強力を取得する強力取得部１２０と、給糸ボビンの糸を巻き取ってパッケージを形成する通常モードと、寸法取得部及び強力取得部によって取得された糸継部分の寸法及び強力を検査値として出力する検査モードとを切り替え可能な検査制御部１００と、を備える。【選択図】図３
