Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide failure verification equipment that effectively verifies a failure (abnormality) occurring in equipment having a self-diagnosis feature.SOLUTION: Failure verification equipment includes a memory unit that stores reference information which has one or more verification programs, which can verify an action of each unit when at least one of a component and feature of external equipment having a self-diagnosis feature is regarded as a unit, and pieces of identification information on respective units associated with one another, and a failure verification unit that references the reference information when receiving the identification information, which represents a result of implementation of the self-diagnosis feature, from the external equipment, selects a specific verification program, which is associated with the received identification information, from among the one or more verification programs, transmits the selected specific verification program to the external equipment, obtains a result of running of the specific verification program performed by the external equipment, and can verify at least one of the component and feature, in which a failure has occurred, on the basis of the obtained result of running.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 【課題】 自己診断機能を有する装置に発生した障害(異常)を効率的に検証する障害検証装置等を提供する。【解決手段】 障害検証装置は、自己診断機能を有する外部装置の構成及び機能の少なくとも何れかを単位として、その単位毎に動作を検証可能な1つ以上の検証用プログラムと、前記単位毎の識別情報とが関連付けされている参照情報が格納されている記憶部と、前記外部装置から、前記自己診断機能の実行結果を表す前記識別情報を受信するのに応じて、前記参照情報を参照することにより、前記1つ以上の検証用プログラムの中から、前記受信した識別情報に関連付けされている特定の検証用プログラムを選択し、選択した該特定の検証用プログラムを前記外部装置に送信すると共に、前記外部装置が前記特定の検証用プログラムを実行した結果を入手し、入手した実行結果に基づいて、障害が発生した前記構成及び機能の少なくとも何れかを検証可能な障害検証部とを有する。【選択図】 図10
