Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily stop unnecessary image projection without imposing any burden on a user.SOLUTION: A projection system includes a personal computer (PC) 1 that outputs image data and a data projector device 2 that is connected with the PC 1 and projects and displays an image on the basis of the input image data. The PC 1 sends a signal instructing release or setting of image mute at timing when a specified operation state is entered (T02 to T04, and T05 to T07), and the data projector device 2 temporarily stops projecting and displaying the image in accordance with an instruction signal sent from the PC 1 (R02 to R07).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】ユーザに一切の負担をかけず、不必要な画像の投影を一時的に停止させる。【解決手段】画像データを出力するパーソナルコンピュータ（ＰＣ）１と、入力される画像データに基づいた投影表示を行なうデータプロジェクタ装置２とを接続してなる投影システムで、ＰＣ１は、特定の動作状態となったタイミングで画像のミュートの解除と設定を指示する信号を発信し（Ｔ02〜Ｔ04，Ｔ05〜Ｔ07）、データプロジェクタ装置２は、ＰＣ１から送られてくる指示信号に応じて一時的に画像の投影表示を停止する（Ｒ02〜Ｒ07）。【選択図】図４
