INFORMATION MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management device and an information management method with which it is possible to reduce the number of cars heading in the same direction or toward the same destination and alleviate congestion.SOLUTION: The information management device according to the present embodiment comprises a storage unit, an arithmetic unit, and an output unit. The storage unit stores owner information received from the terminal of an owner owning an automobile and including at least a car-sharable place of departure, a car-sharable destination, and a car-sharable day/time. The arithmetic unit searches the owner information for a conforming owner information that conforms to first guest information on the basis of first guest information received from the terminal of a guest wishing to share the car of an other person and including one of a desired car-share place of departure, a desired car-share destination, and a desired car-share day/time.
