Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve characteristics of acceleration relative to an accelerator operation and thus easily maintain constant vehicle speed.SOLUTION: A control device (ECU 50) for an engine defines a first region R1 including an accelerator opening that allows target acceleration to become zero, a second region R2 in which an accelerator opening is larger than that in the first region R1 and a third region R3 in which an accelerator opening is smaller than that in the first region R1; defines a first acceleration characteristic map M1 applied to the first region R1 so as to have an inclination of a change of the target acceleration relative to a change of the accelerator opening, which is smaller than that of a second acceleration characteristic map M2 applied to the second region R2 and so as to have the inclination of the change of the target acceleration relative to the change of the accelerator opening, which is larger than that of a third acceleration characteristic map M3 applied to the third region R3; and controls engine torque by setting the target acceleration corresponding to the accelerator opening by using the first to third acceleration characteristic maps M1-M3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】アクセル操作に対する加速度の特性を改善し、一定車速を容易に維持できるようにする。【解決手段】エンジンの制御装置(ECU50)は、目標加速度を0にするアクセル開度を含む第1の領域R1と、第1の領域R1よりもアクセル開度が大きい第2の領域R2と、第1の領域R1よりもアクセル開度が小さい第3の領域R3とを規定し、第1の領域R1に適用する第1の加速度特性マップM1を、第2の領域R2に適用する第2の加速度特性マップM2よりも、アクセル開度の変化に対する目標加速度の変化の傾きが小さくなり、且つ、第3の領域R3に適用する第3の加速度特性マップM3よりも、アクセル開度の変化に対する目標加速度の変化の傾きが大きくなるように規定し、このような第1乃至第3の加速度特性マップM1〜M3を用いて、アクセル開度に応じた目標加速度を設定してエンジントルクを制御する。【選択図】図4
