PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a program that can quickly determine whether abnormality in density of a toner image is caused at least due to a portion to which a toner image is transferred.SOLUTION: When at least one of the density of a first test image as a toner image on an intermediate transfer belt 22 when the first test image is transferred by transfer means, and the density of the first test image on a sheet P when the first test image is transferred by forming means, is less than a predetermined density, an image forming apparatus, starts transfer of a second test image as a toner image from a member of the source of transfer of the first test image to a member of the destination of transfer, and control of stopping the transfer of the second test image at a position where a part of the second test image remains at the member of the source of transfer and the rest of the second test image is transferred to the member of the destination of transfer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】トナー像の濃度の異常が少なくともトナー像を転写する部位に起因するものか否かを早期に切り分けることができる画像形成装置及びプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】転写手段によりトナー像としての第１テスト画像を転写させた場合の中間転写ベルト２２上の第１テスト画像の濃度、及び形成手段により第１テスト画像を転写させた場合の用紙Ｐ上の第１テスト画像の濃度の少なくとも一方が予め定められた濃度未満の場合に、第１テスト画像の転写元の部材から転写先の部材へのトナー像としての第２テスト画像の転写を開始させ、第２テスト画像の一部が転写元の部材に残り、かつ他部が転写先の部材に転写される位置で、第２テスト画像の転写を停止させる制御を行う。【選択図】図１
