PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate deterioration in write performance for a storage volume.SOLUTION: A storage includes a plurality of storage devices and a first control unit that controls the plurality of storage devices. The storage devices include a nonvolatile memory and a second control unit that controls the nonvolatile memory. The second control unit includes: a first threshold storage unit that stores a first threshold; and a management unit that manages arrangement information indicating whether or not data arrangement is necessary for each predetermined unit in a storage area of the nonvolatile memory.
