Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an inorganic pigment difficult to liquefy and easy to settle out when is colloidal-dispersed into a liquid, to be used for a thermal lens forming element.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermal lens forming element 100 including a control light absorbing region with an inorganic porous particle layer 6 impregnated with a mixture organic solvent 10, the layer 6 being made of inorganic porous particles containing pigments, in the front surfaces and in holes of the particles, absorbing a light with the wavelength of a control light and not absorbing a light with the wavelength of a signal light and the solvent 10 having the same index of refraction as the inorganic porous particles.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2c 【課題】溶液化が困難かつ液体中にコロイド分散させても沈降し易い無機色素を熱レンズ形成素子へ使用できるようにする。【解決手段】信号光の波長の光を吸収せず、制御光の波長の光を吸収する色素が表面および孔内に担持された無機多孔質粒子から成る無機多孔質粒子層6に、前記無機多孔質粒子と屈折率が同一になるよう調整された混合有機溶剤10を含浸させた制御光吸収領域を有する熱レンズ形成素子100である。【選択図】図2c
