PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such problems that labels are stuck to each other or stuck to the periphery when an issued label sheet is mistakenly handled, since adhesive surfaces are left exposed after labels issued in a continuous state are removed from a label printer, even though there is no problem when labels with mount issued with reservation are left as they are since the labels are struck to the mounts, and that it becomes difficult to handle label sheets issued with reservation if the working order is switched after performing label issuance reservation for plural products.SOLUTION: A label printer includes safety means which stops issuance of the next label when labels issued in a continuous state are still in a label issuing port after being issued by a prescribed length or prescribed number.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】予約発行された台紙付きラベルをそのまま放置しても、ラベルは台紙に貼り付いたままであるから、問題にはならないが、台紙レスラベルでは、複数枚連ねた状態で発行されたラベルをラベルプリンタから取り去ると、粘着面が剥き出しのままになっているから、発行されたラベルシートの取り扱いを誤ると、ラベル同士が貼り付いたり、周囲に貼り付いたりする問題がある。また、複数商品のラベル発行予約を行った後に、作業順序が入れ替わると、予約発行されたラベルシートの取り扱いに困る問題がある。【解決手段】複数枚連なった状態で発行されたラベルが、所定長さまたは所定枚数発行されたあともラベル発行口にある場合は、次のラベル発行を停止する安全手段を備える。【選択図】図５
