Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pipe cooling device which can be used in a temperature range at a high cooling efficiency, while reducing the range of temperature change of a heat removal object with a limited working temperature range.SOLUTION: A heat pipe cooling device comprises: a heat pipe 2 which includes an operation medium, and which has a heat absorption part for evaporating the operation medium in a liquid state by heat from a heat removal object 1, and a heat dissipation part 4 for condensing the operation medium in a gaseous state; and a cooling fan 5 for cooling the heat dissipation part 4 by forced convection. The heat pipe cooling device further comprises a temperature detection part 6 capable of detecting or estimating the temperature of the operation medium in the heat absorption part. The heat pipe cooling device drives the cooling fan 5 if the temperature acquired by the detection or estimation by the temperature detection part 6 is equal to or higher than a predetermined temperature which is equal to or higher than a lower limit of the operation medium temperature set for reducing the range of temperature change of the heat removal object 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】使用温度範囲が限られた被除熱対象物の温度変化の幅を小さくすると共に、冷却効率が高い温度範囲で使用することができるヒートパイプ式冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】作動媒体を内封し、被除熱対象物1からの熱により液体状態の作動媒体を蒸発させる吸熱部、及び、気体状態の作動媒体を凝縮させる放熱部4を有するヒートパイプ2と、放熱部4を強制対流により冷却する冷却ファン5と、を備えたヒートパイプ式冷却装置であって、吸熱部における作動媒体の温度の検出又は推定が可能な温度検出部6を有し、温度検出部6における検出又は推定により得られた温度が、被除熱対象物1の温度変化の幅を小さくするために設定された作動媒体の温度の下限値以上の所定温度以上であるときは、冷却ファン5を駆動する。【選択図】図1
