PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a box type spatial video image formation device capable of separating means for outputting a video, achieving light-weight and downsizing, and being portable.SOLUTION: An optical system space is formed by a display device 2, a half mirror unit 5, and a retroreflection board part 6 mounted on a support plate section 3. The optical system space is opened upward by the support plate section 3 and the retroreflection board part 6 and both-side plate units 8 are provided for interleaving the optical system space from both sides. The half mirror unit 5 is disposed with the upward opening.
