POLYETHYLENE MADE CAP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene made capable of long storage even with contents causing a problem of oxidation deterioration and reduction of airtightness as excellent in moldability, molded article appearance, strength, rigidity, ESCR, food safety and recyclability, also excellent in gas barrier property which is a defect of conventional polyolefin resin caps.SOLUTION: A cap is made from a resin composition by blending 95 to 60 wt.% of high density polyethylene having specific physical property with 5 to 40 wt.% of an ethylene polymer having density of 920 to 960 kg/m, MFR of 0.1 to 15 g/10 min., exhibiting two peaks in a molecular weight measurement by a gel permeation chromatography, having a ratio of weight average molecular weight (Mw) and number average molecular weight (Mn) (Mw/Mn) in a range of 2.0 to 7.0 and a long chain branch of 0.15 or more per 1000 carbon number of a main chain in a fraction with Mn of 100,000 or more when molecular weight separation.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 成形性、成形品外観、強度、剛性、ＥＳＣＲ、食品安全性、リサイクル性に優れ、従来のポリオレフィン系樹脂キャップの欠点であるガスバリア性にも優れることで、酸化劣化や気密性の低下が問題となる内容物でも長期保管が可能となるポリエチレン製キャップを提供する。【解決手段】 特定の物性を有する高密度ポリエチレン９５〜６０重量％に、密度が９２０〜９６０ｋｇ／ｍ３、ＭＦＲが０．１〜１５ｇ／１０分、ゲル・パーミエーション・クロマトグラフィーによる分子量測定において２つのピークを示し、重量平均分子量（Ｍｗ）と数平均分子量（Ｍｎ）の比（Ｍｗ／Ｍｎ）が２．０〜７．０の範囲であり、分子量分別した際のＭｎが１０万以上のフラクション中に長鎖分岐を主鎖１０００炭素数あたり０．１５個以上有するエチレン系重合体を５〜４０重量％配合した樹脂組成物をキャップとする。【選択図】 なし
