PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote communication within a building by effectively utilizing a staircase part.SOLUTION: A building includes: a staircase part 7 that has a staircase 7a communicating with upper and lower floors; a passage part 8 that adjoins the staircase part 7 in the state of spatially continuing into the staircase part; a habitable room part 2 that adjoins both or either of the staircase part 7 and the passage part 8; a fireproof cutoff part S that isolates the staircase part 7 and the passage part 8 from a space around them in the state of surrounding them in case of fire; and a pressurization mechanism that applies pressure to an internal space of the fireproof cutoff part S so that the internal space becomes higher in pressure than a space around it in case of fire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】階段部を有効活用して、建物内のコミュニケーションの増進を図る。【解決手段】上下階に繋がる階段７ａを有する階段部７と、階段部７と空間的に連続状態に隣接する通路部８と、階段部７及び通路部８の両方または何れか一方と隣接する居室部２と、火災時に階段部７及び通路部８を囲んだ状態でその周囲の空間から隔離する防火遮断部Ｓと、火災時に防火遮断部Ｓの内部空間を対象にして、その周囲の空間より圧力が高くなるように加圧する加圧機構と、を設けてある。【選択図】図１
