PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which brightly illuminates a clearance between adjacent lighting units, and can enhance a sense of unity at the lighting of the plurality of lighting units.SOLUTION: In a vehicle rear lamp (lighting device) 1 which is constituted by arranging a first lamp unit 2 and a second lamp unit 3 for accommodating at least light sources in lamp chambers S1, S2 which are defined by housings 4, 5 and outer lenses 6, 7 covering opening parts of the housings, in parallel with each other, a lens cut (reflection means) 7a is arranged in a portion (bent part 7A1) which faces a clearance between both the lamp units 2, 3 of the outer lens 7 of one second lamp unit 3 out of the adjacent two first and second lamp units 2, 3, and light emitted from an LED (light source) 8 arranged in the vicinity of the lens cut 7a is reflected toward the clearance δ between both the lamp units 2, 3 by the lens cut 7a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】隣接する照明ユニット間の隙間を明るく照らして複数の照明ユニットの点灯時の一体感を高めることができる照明装置を提供すること。【解決手段】ハウジング４，５とその開口部を覆うアウタレンズ６，７によって画成される灯室Ｓ１，Ｓ２内に、少なくとも光源を収容して成る第１ランプユニット２と第２ランプユニット３を並設して構成される車両用リアランプ（照明装置）１において、隣接する２つの第１及び第２ランプユニット２，３のうち、一方の第２ランプユニット３のアウタレンズ７の両ランプユニット２，３間の隙間に面する部分（屈曲部７Ａ１）にレンズカット（反射手段）７ａを設け、該レンズカット７ａの近傍に配置されたＬＥＤ（光源）８から出射する光を前記レンズカット７ａによって両ランプユニット２，３間の隙間δに向けて反射させるよう構成する。【選択図】図２
