PROJECTION LENS AND PROJECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection lens that is large and heavy and yet offers improved portability and mountability while maintaining optical quality thereof, and to provide a projector having the same.SOLUTION: A projection lens 5 includes holding members 55 that are mounted on a part of a lens barrel 52 protruding in a direction substantially perpendicular to an optical axis OA on the outside of the lens barrel to hold a projection lens body 50. The holding members 55 are mounted to protrude in a direction substantially parallel to the optical axis OA and to intersect a plane that includes a centroid G and is substantially perpendicular to the optical axis OA. The projection lens also includes a flange 53 for mounting the projection lens body 50 on an image projection device (projector 1), where the holding members 55 are mounted on the flange 53.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】大型で重量のある投写レンズに対して、可搬性や載置性の向上と、光学品質の維持が可能な投写レンズ、およびこの投写レンズを用いたプロジェクターを提供する。【解決手段】投写レンズ５は、鏡筒５２の外側で、光軸ＯＡに対して略直交する方向へ突出する部位に設置され、投写レンズ本体５０を保持する保持部材５５を備えている。また、保持部材５５は、光軸ＯＡと略平行な方向へ突出して、重心Ｇを含み光軸ＯＡに対して略直交する面と交差するように設置されている。また、投写レンズ本体５０を画像投写機器（プロジェクター１）に装着するためのフランジ５３を備え、保持部材５５は、フランジ５３に設置されている。【選択図】図２
