Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photochromic composition in which spray can be suitably used when the photochromic composition is applied onto the surface of a base material, and that can produce an optical article (laminate) which has excellent adhesiveness (perspiration resistance) and heat resistance, exhibits excellent photochromic properties, and has such photochromic properties that its appearance is excellent, when an adhesive layer formed of the photochromic composition is formed on the surface of the base material and the optical article is produced.SOLUTION: A photochromic composition for spray coating contains (A) a polyurethane-urea resin having an urea bond in a molecular chain, (B) a photochromic compound, and (C) a solvent for dilution. In the photochromic composition for spray coating, 910-10,000 pts.mass of the solvent for dilution based on 100 pts.mass of (A) the polyurethane-urea resin is contained, and a viscosity at 25°C when (A) the polyurethane-urea resin is dissolved in (C) the solvent for dilution is 1-1,800 mPa s.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 基材の表面にフォトクロミック組成物を塗布するに際し、スプレーを好適に用いることができ、該フォトクロミック組成物からなる接着層を基材表面に形成させて光学物品を製造するに際して、優れた接着性(耐汗性)、耐熱性を有し、優れたフォトクロミック性を発揮し、且つ外観良好なフォトクロミック特性を有する光学物品(積層体)を製造可能な、フォトクロミック組成物を提供することである。【解決手段】 本発明のスプレーコート用フォトクロミック組成物は、(A)分子鎖中にウレア結合を有するポリウレタン−ウレア樹脂、及び(B)フォトクロミック化合物、及び(C)上記(A)ポリウレタン−ウレア樹脂100質量部に対し、910〜10,000質量部の希釈用溶媒を含んでなり、上記(A)ポリウレタン−ウレア樹脂が(C)希釈用溶媒に溶解し、25℃における粘度が1〜1,800mPa・sである。【選択図】 なし
