Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image writing device which reduces the influence with the temperature change due to lighting in image writing without increasing the adjustment time at the time of automatic light quantity setting even in a case of including a plurality of laser diodes.SOLUTION: An image writing device comprises: a plurality of laser diodes 211, 212, 213, 214 which form electrostatic latent images in an effective scan region of a photoreceptor; storage means 260 which stores the lighting time of at least one scanning in each lighting time of the light-emitting diodes; and automatic light quantity control means 230 which individually executes automatic light quantity setting processing of the plurality of laser diodes for each laser diode in a non-effective scan region of the photoreceptor. The automatic light quantity control means 230 performs automatic light quantity setting processing from the laser diode with the shortest lighting time of one scanning immediately before the automatic light quantity control on the basis of the lighting time of each laser diode acquired from the storage means 260.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
