PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastener that facilitates attachment of a string and makes the attached string be hard to come off.SOLUTION: A fastener concerning one side surface of the present invention is the fastener for fastening a string-like body to an article. The fastener includes a slit opening part with the string-like body inserted therein, and a string-like body holding unit coming into communication with the slit opening and holding the string-like body inserted from the slit opening part. The string-like body holding unit extends from the slit opening part to the left and right direction. The surface of the string-like body holding unit opposed to the slit opening part is smooth.
