Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorbing structure for an automobile lower arm capable of absorbing an input of a collision load from wheels without securing a deformation margin to a suspension member side.SOLUTION: A lower arm body 6 is formed so that an upper member 9 and a lower member 10 are formed into a substantially rectangular hollow shape in a cross-sectional view. In at least a part of the lower arm body 6, the rectangular rear upper corner section c is deformed so that rectangular cross-sectional area is reduced, and a rear lower corner section d is deformed so that the rectangular cross-sectional area is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】サスペンションメンバ側に変形代を確保することなく車輪からの衝突荷重の入力を吸収できる自動車用ロアアームの衝撃吸収構造を提供する。【解決手段】ロアアーム本体6は、アッパ部材9とロア部材10とを横断面視で大略矩形の中空状をなすように形成されており、前記ロアアーム本体6の少なくとも一部において、前記矩形の後上コーナ部cは前記矩形の断面積が減少するように変形され、後下コーナ部dは前記矩形の断面積が増加するように変形されている。【選択図】図4
