Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorbing structure for an automobile lower arm capable of absorbing an input of a collision load from wheels without securing a deformation margin to a suspension member side.SOLUTION: A lower arm body 6 is formed so that an upper member 9 and a lower member 10 are formed into a substantially rectangular hollow shape in a cross-sectional view. In at least a part of the lower arm body 6, the rectangular rear upper corner section c is deformed so that rectangular cross-sectional area is reduced, and a rear lower corner section d is deformed so that the rectangular cross-sectional area is increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
