Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a hydroxylated fatty acid compound which is used for an anti-wrinkle agent using the microalga, the intestine protective agent, the hyperglycemia inhibitor, intermediates of various compounds, and the like.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a hydroxylated fatty acid compound is provided by incubating microalga belonging to genus Chlorosarcinopsis, and collecting the generated hydroxylated fatty acid compound. The manufacturing method of the hydroxylated fatty acid compound is provided in which the microalga contains 18S rDNA with a specific base sequence, or contains 18S rDNA having 90% or more homologous with a specific base sequence in which a base corresponding to position 349 of the specific base sequence is adenine.
